Five months ago, I moved to Gainesville, Georgia to be part of the Center for Global Action (CGA). Here at CGA, I have been learning what it looks like to be a missionary—to be the hands and feet of Jesus—wherever I am, whether overseas on a mission trip like the World Race or living a normal life in the States.

My focus over the last 5 months has been on worship. The seven of us in the worship track of CGA have been sitting down twice a week since September to talk and learn about what it means to worship and how to lead others in worship. We have talked about how to live a worshipful life and how God can use us to share the gospel and love others through the gifts of worship he has given us. We’ve challenged each other and wrestled with things having to do with prayer, worship, and the church, and as a result of those conversations, we have been pushed to be the church and not just talk about it.

It has been awesome.

So in April I will be going on a worship-centered mission trip for 18 days! My team and I will pack up a van with our instruments and drive through the East Coast to preach the gospel and invite people into worship. I have a heart for the American church and I want to see us come alive because of the gospel. There are so many people here in the US who need to hear the hope of the message of Christ. To be able to help lead others into worship, pray for them, and share about Jesus with them is all I want to do. Worship and missions are both close to my heart and I can’t wait to see the ways God moves during this US mission trip.

In order to do this, I am raising funds. I’m raising $8,650 for my time at Center for Global Action and for the mission trip. I have to have $6,500 by March 4 in order to leave with my team. I have raised about $3,500 of that, so I need to raise another $3,000 in the next two and a half weeks.

So many of you supported me on the World Race through prayer, encouraging messages, and financial support and I am so grateful for you because it showed me that you believe in me and where God has called me. Please consider joining me again in financial support so I can meet my deadline and go out to share the gospel—so I can tell people here in our very own backyard that God loves them and wants to offer them redemption, forgiveness, and new life. You can contribute by clicking the “donate” button above. Thanks so much for following my journey and supporting me in it!
